DEEPWATER AFRICA - CAPITAL PROJECT

Reduced cost by $2 billion in a major deepwater capital project in Africa. Recommended alternate development concept of cheaper twin FPSO units instead of one customized expensive FPSO. Improved savings by 10-20 % by preparing subsea hardware demand forecast in coordination with contracts and procurement.  Supported Standardization and Replication by delivering catalogues of standard designs for most utilized well components. 

TEMPO (M&A) – NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

A $300 M upstream acquisition in Caribbean that converted a declining offshore gas asset into a new LNG exporting heartland. The impeding partner had blocked the development of asset costing $75 M fines due to different value drivers, Acquisition helped 100% control of the asset, enabling three capital projects unlocking $900 M worth of blocked value 

DEEPWATER– EXPLORATION

Supported and delivered global deep-water portfolio of 20 Billion STB in Brazil, Gulf of Mexico (GOM), Brazil and Niger delta. Developed best practices that reduced the exploration evaluation time by 50 %

PRIVATE EQUITY– MANAGEMENT CONSULTING

Delivered portfolio strategy for UK based Private Equity for its platform company. Delivered growth plan through exploration and appraisal drilling. Identified revenue growth strategies (PDP, PDNP and PUD) through interventions, infill drilling, and asset enhancement. Delivered 100-day plans

DEEPWATER– RESERVOIR ENGINEERING ADVISORY

Delivered feasibility report in $3.5 billion non-operated venture. A challenged cluster development in deep-water with 600 MM STB reserves and CAPEX ~ $3.5 billion. Delivered Full Field numerical simulation models, fluid characterization and Integrated production model to optimize field development with water and gas injection achieving 220 KBPD production

EAGLE FORD – UNCONVENTIONAL

Helped asset team divest the Eagleford Shale through performance review:

  1. Identified innovative technology for de-risking and enhancing productivity;

  2. Developed big rules; common risk segment maps, play segment maps;

  3. Created ‘First Principles’; ‘must-have’ recognition criteria and potential ‘killer risks’;

  4. Produced a sweet-spot strategy using high-resolution seismic to locate fractures;

  5. Mapped well PI’s/IP’s in the play and developed integrated view of ‘controls on productivity’;

  6. Developed play specific well completions and fracturing design,

  7. Generated data gathering plans to de-risk the play

UPPER ZAKUM – TECHNOLOGY

Increased production of offshore carbonate field from 250 KBPD to 500 KBPD. Field suffering from low productivity, designed pilot and appraisal plan for applying horizontal wells in he field and deployed the technology in the field with over 200 horizontal wells.
