  1. Single Telephone Call (1-3 Hours) - Fixed hourly rate $500/hr 

    • Choose a topic and send us 3-5 question for typical one-hour session

    • This will be a telephone call; no presentation material is prepared or shared

    • 50 % is paid upfront and 50% is paid after the call

    • See Example-1 below for for customer experience

2.  Short Duration Project (up to 1-week) -  Fixed daily rate (negotiable)

  • Send us an email with scope and agree & sign on call-off contact (limited duration)

  • We act as external advisors /consultants; work with your c-suite and team

  • Work may include Zoom-meetings; and present and share material

  • 50% is paid upfront and 50% after agreed deliverable

  • Does not include travel or F2F (in-person) meetings (unless exclusively agreed)

  • See Example-2 below for for customer experience

3. Medium Duration Project (up to  2-weeks duration) -  Fixed daily rate (negotiable) 

  • Send us an email with scope and agree & sign on call-off contact (limited duration)

  • We act as external advisors /consultants; but also deliver significant work package

  • We work with your c-suite team as well as key discipline specific members

  • Work may include Zoom-meetings; and present and share material

  • 50% is paid upfront and 50% after agreed deliverable

  • May include travel or F2F meetings 

  • Travel, boarding and lodging is not included in the daily rate (to be provided by client)

  • See Example-3 below for for customer experience

4. Extended Duration Project (more than  2-week) - Fixed daily rate (negotiable) 

  • Send us an email with scope and agree & sign on call-off contact (limited duration)

  • We act as external advisors /consultants; but also deliver significant work package

  • We may embed with your team in an extended duration project

  • We work with your c-suite team as well as key discipline specific members

  • Work may include Zoom-meetings; and present and share material

  • 50% is paid upfront and 50% after agreed deliverable

  • Does include travel or F2F (in-person) meetings 

  • Travel, boarding and lodging is not included in the daily rate (to be provided by client)

5. Fractional Executive (six months to a year or more)

  • Available as fractional executive to help c-suite and/or board members

  • Help provide strategic guidance to your executive team at fractional cost

  • We can help you grow beyond the comfort zone

  • We can help provide the next level of niche technological expertise and leadership

6.Non-Executive Director/NED (Up to to 2 years)

  • Available to be fill the board positions for technology/ energy/renewable start-ups

Client Experience Example-2 : Exploration Technical Advisor (Jan - May, 2022)

 

A Calgary based international oil company is engaged in exploration in one of the few remaining boutique frontier basins in Africa for the commercial development. The team drilled two exploration wells that indicated some oil shows but no commercial production. The company contacted us for external technical advice specifically on frontier exploration and look at strategies in analogue basins

The scope of technical review, external guidance and support including:

  • Basin overview; Regional structural setting 

  • Geological & petrophysical evaluation

  • Geophysics & seismic mapping

  • Prospectivity in the basin

  • Source rock evaluation & basin modedling

  •  Field Size distribution study on analogue basin

Client Experience Example-3 : CCS Project - Technical Advisor  (Aug - Oct 2022)

 

One of the largest international service company, tasked to do the geological sequestration study to store CO2 in a saline aquifer by an industrial client, asked us to be the Technical Advisors and external reviewer for the geological sequestration study. The service company is responsible for site screening, site selection and detailed site  characterization to geologically  sequester CO2, by capturing it from Ethanol plant so that client could qualify for the Low Carbon Fuel Standards (LCFS) for its ethanol sale in California market (meeting California Air resource Board ~ CARB requirements).

 

The scope of technical review, external guidance and support included:

  •  Structural, stratigraphic. & geo-mechanical modeling

  • Identification of containment mechanisms (seals)

  • Key subsurface risks, their impact and risk management plan

  • Static model , uncertainty management and sensitivity analysis

  • Review of dynamic modeling (including CO2. trapping mechanisms); 

  • CO2 plume development and area of ​review determination

  • Establishing injectivity  and injection tests (Step-rate, IT/PFO etc.)

  • Establishing storage capacity for the CO2 

  • We developed robust data gathering plan to manage uncertainties and CARB requirements.

  • Delivered robust Measurement, Monitoring and Verification (MMV) program to meet CARB requirements.

  • Presented all findings to the c-suite team of the client (zoom meetings)

Example-4 : Technical Advisor / Management Consultant 

 

A UK based private equity owned independent oil company with international operation was looking to turn-around its brown field assets; a multi field, multi reservoir complex. They contacted us to help in developing short and long-term development and growth plan. 

The scope of technical review, external guidance and support including:

  • We provided external review to the hydrocarbon resources and reserves assessment

  • We helped provide technical advise and guidance in static & dynamic modeling

  • Assessed intrinsic value of the company and the gap with market value

  • Delivered short-term plan (3-years) for Internal improvement to increase margins & ROIC

  • Delivered Produce-the-limit to identify production constraints & areas for improvement.

  • Help deliver the divestment of non-core assets in UK (one-week effort)

  • Delivered long-term plan (10-years) to develop contingent resources and provide  growth

  • Long-term plan included maturation of contingent resources and Field development plans
